The newly commissioned hand sewn soft sculpture marks Ant Hamlyn's third large-scale permanent installation for the Daisy Green Collection. Suspended from the ceiling and measuring over 3.5 meters, LATTICE pays homage to the historic gardens of Holland Park.

 

Drawing inspiration from the Rose, Dutch and Kyoto gardens; the installation explores the dynamic relationship between nature and architecture through the playful materiality of nostalgia and memory. Ultimately, LATTICE invites a moment of pause, capturing a fleeting instant in life's ongoing cycle, where time feels momentarily suspended between the natural world and the built environment.
