Commissioned by the Zabludowicz Collection, London March 2017. ShadowSoftware was a performing, interactive room. With the use of strobe lights, bubble machines and twitter connectivity the work explored how we perform online when everyone is watching. Our consistent documentation of ourselves and what it means to be noticed, followed and gratified. Each time the room was mentioned #shadowsoftware on twitter an excessive stream of strobe lights and bubbles instantly filled the room. Briefly creating the illusion of a live action animation in which viewer movements appear to be slowed down and are experienced frame by frame. image by image.
