The Strobe Globe was commissioned for the Victoria and Albert Museum for the 'Pocket Privacy' Friday Late.

 

Built inside one of the permanent items in the museum - The Globe. The Strobe Globe is paradoxical space. On one hand the Strobe Globe provides and opportunity to retreat from and subvert the pace of contemporary, digitised life by providing a sound proofed, cushioned 'escape space'.

In paradox to this, the Stobe Globe is fitted with fifteen strobe lights simultaneously activated by the #thestrobeglobe tweet. Creating a disorientating star-scape of social media obsession and neccessity.
